I'd heard about Vintage Pine before - it's this giant warehouse of antiques and other bits of gloriousness just down the road from my home. But when I saw this picture in the July/August Chicago Home (read the whole article here), I knew it was time to make a visit. I guess it's a good spot to catch a glimpse of local interior designers like Nate Berkus and Tom Stringer. After my visit - I understand why they're making the trip! It's like going to a perfect flea market. I managed to pick up this beauty while I was there - She looks great next to my other portrait. Apparently I'm starting a collection.
I can't believe it's been so long since my last post! But we've been so productive: We moved into our new house! I love this place, and I can't sleep at night for dreaming about the endless possibilities (Furniture arrangement! Fabrics! Paints!). For now it's a sea of boxes. And I'm so excited - there's a Farmers Marketdown the street. I'm definitely going this Saturday. (Photo CountryLiving.com)
