Jayson Home & Garden European Flea Market
I cannot wait for this.

Chicago Home + Garden ran a feature in their January/February '08 issue about Nate Berkus's right hand women, Lauren Buxbaum and Sasha Adler. Pictures of the ladies' homes were also included in the article, and I found the rooms featured to be very chic. Incidentally, Lauren's parents own Antiques on Old Plank Road, a personal favorite of mine. You can also check out Old Plank on 1st Dibs.
Love this pine cone paper from Chicago's Snow & Graham. Available at Broadway Paper. As seen in the December '07/January '08 Domino. Reminds me of this.

Grace posted some great pictures of Scout, one of my favorite stores here in Chicago. This place is FULL of unbelievably great stuff.
The Renegade Ladies are at it again. Their new Chicago store has the same great vibe as their fair. I took a walk over there today, and I wasn't disappointed.
It's been a gorgeous weekend here in Chicago - lots of sun and warm weather. It's got me thinking about Summer-ish things like these bombes from Ici Ice Cream (pictured in the April '07 House & Garden).
Apparently Theo and I weren't the only ones enjoying the weather... we spotted Ted Allen when we were walking around yesterday.
I was getting my hair cut today, and there were some gorgeous flowers at the reception desk. I found out they were from Jayson Home & Garden, only my favorite home/design/garden store in Chicago. They have some great bouquets prepared for Valentine's Day - like this Jewel Toned arrangement above. I'm seriously considering them for The Big Day (The Wedding)!
These tree cosies are a part of a community knitting project that took place in October here in Chicago. The installation was a part of Lakeview East's 44/46 project (where local artists had projects that were supposed to inspire conversation placed all around the neighborhood). I finally got around to checking them out. More pictures here (which are much better the the ones I was able to take with my phone)!
Happy Halloween! We had a party at our house on Saturday - and Theo managed to take a few pictures (I always forget!). The party was very impromptu, but we had a blast. I'm hoping to make it to the North Halstead Street Halloween Parade tonight.
Clockwise: My sister Bridget and my brother Brian (as Keven Federline, not pictured, his girlfriend Margaret as Britney. Hilarious - best costumes of the night.) Friends Adriano and Fernanda, Tony, Jake, and Christine, Brad, Sarah, Jen and Christen.
