I could definitely live in Boston. (Seattle or Boston? hmmmm....)
I can't believe we had to fly to another state to see our Chicago friends Brad and Christine (everyone is so busy!), but we had a really fun time in Boston! It was so great to have an ex-local (Brad) and his still-local parents give us the whirlwind tour!
We had a super packed agenda: drinks in the South End on Friday night, Harvard Square, Newbury Street (oh love Louis Boston, but oh nothing under $300), Boston Common, Quincy Market (new shoes! Chowda!) Faneuil Hall, and back to Quincy Market (Pizza) on Saturday. But wait - it was still early! We hadn't eaten quite enough (ha ha), so we ventured over to Boston's Little Italy, the North End, for the famous cannoli at Mike's Pastry Shop on Hanover Street. Delicious. More drinks, and my first ever (almost) bar fight. Not my fault, don't ask. Of course - the weekend wouldn't be complete without watching the Patriots game (ok, I actually just watched everyone else watch the game, but I did eat Mrs. J's famous Clam Dip. Yes, my pants are tight).
Back to Chicago tonight, and I think I've sufficiently exhausted myself for the plane trip to London tomorrow. I plan on sleeping the whole way!

I knew you would love it! Isn't it so charming?
